Dominion Kids
Dominion Kids offers fun age appropriate activities for youth of all ages. Nursery, Pre-school, Children and Teens ministry is offered during regular services.
Dominion Man
Dominion Man is designed to equip and empower men to conquer every day challenges. The ministry is geared to improving the quality of life for the total man through bible study, recreation, and regular fellowship. Dominion Man meets for empowering moments on the first Wednesday of the month.
Women of Worship (WOW)
Women of Worship is a ministry designed to teach women, single, married, young and seasoned, to live a life that pleases God. Women of Worship meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
Life Transformation Groups
These groups are designed to connect people with similar interest to learn, grow and serve. As a result of their impact, peninsula communities will become a better place to live, work and raise a family. LTG’s meet every second and fourth Wednesday at 7PM in various locations
Community & Civic: This group will seek God for creative strategies to serve the community in the area of social ills. For example: crime, violence, abortion, perverse sexuality, or local neighborhood issues. This group will bring God’s plan to the table and lead us as a church in community impact efforts. (Hampton & Newport News group)
Prayer and Intercession: This group will focus on how to strategically pray and intercede for others.
Family Life: This family focused group will teach parents how to build strong, stable and fun homes that glorify God. There will be enrichment activities for children.
Finance/Financial Literacy: This group will teach God’s purpose and plan for money. Earn it, manage it, grow it and use it to glorify God.
Global Mission: Local evangelism goes global with this group. Study our global mandate, pray and work to make a difference abroad. We will focus on Africa and Hatti.
Senior Circle: Teaching seniors how to be mentors and finding God’s will for their lives in this season of their lives. God’s not finished with you yet!!!
Education: Delivering our community from the spirit of poverty through literacy. For example: GED prep, homework clubs for students and college prep. This group will serve adults and children.
Media & Arts: This group will focus on how to use your skills and gifts to draw people in to the Kingdom of God. Creative evangelism will be a major focus of this group.
Business/Entrepreneurship: Focuses on business start up and creative business venture training. Learn how God gives streams to sustain you and the work He has called you to.
Covenant Keepers
Covenant Keepers is a marriage and relationship enrichment seminar held twice a year. This 7 week training is designed to empower couples to “keep their covenant” and live out God’s plan for their marriage. Discover God’s plan for communication, intimacy, sex and money.
Outreach
Nehemiah’s Nook: is a weekly compassion outreach to the homeless and disadvantage. In partnership with several peninsula churches, Nehemiah’s Nook serves both spiritual and natural food on Saturdays. Volunteers and donations are always needed. Call 245-1748 for more information.
Dominion Community Development Corporation: is a tax-exempt faith-based community development organization. DCDC’ s mission is to holistically enhance disadvantaged communities and residents by making investments in spiritual, cultural, educational, and economic development projects. Specializing in workforce development, small business and affordable housing services, DCDC seeks to apply these principles to empower communities.
